From Teacher to Video

After 10 years of teaching diving, Adrienne Gittus found a new outlet for her love of the underwater world by capturing her surroundings in imagery, allowing her to share her passion with others. She has travelled all over the world, from the Cayman Islands to Fiji, Australia, Palau, the Maldives, Mexico and Indonesia. Working as a self-taught professional cinematographer since 2011, she founded Soulwater Productions in 2015.

Adrienne is well established in her market niche. She has become the number one creator of diving promotional videos for a variety of operations, including high-end liveaboards. She has also supplied footage to CNN, ARD, Discovery, and National Geographic. Her work has also been featured in several magazines, putting her skills and dedication in high demand.

Stunning Underwater Imagery

Adrienne has some of the best camera and dive equipment in the business. With her technical diving and JJ-CCR rebreather training, she reached the pinnacle of technical diving with a certification to 100m. As a result, she can film at greater depths, and get closer to hard-to-capture marine life than many other film production companies. Her stunning underwater imagery complements flawless topside and drone footage to create a complete and personalized package for every customer. Her attention to detail makes each finished project special. Adrienne prides herself on managing timely and effective projects which offer her clients real value. This has given her a reputation for dedication and talent, creating unique and powerful brand imagery.

Conservation

Adrienne’s most enduring passion is the desire to use imagery to preserve our oceans. Her film "A Fish Full of Dollars" has won awards at a number of prestigious film festivals and has been screened around the world. Consequently, Soulwater Productions has become famous for this highly acclaimed documentary. Adrienne approaches every project with a mind to conservation, whether it be the heroic quest to save sharks and rays or the smallest gesture to reduce, reuse and recycle.
